I felt strongly that this was the best episode not centered on comedy or occasion the Lizards have recorded. The commentary on Davidoff and its attempts to market itself out of its quality downturn was very incisive with everyone adding smart commentary. The discussion was anchored by the savvy critique and relatable experiences @NYGuido had. I have smoked recent iterations of the Millenium Piramedes and I just haven’t gotten it. It’s the one cigar that I felt that Lizards just botched in their ratings like the Mark Sanchez butt fumble but it was heartening to know that my experience with Davidoff is not unique. This episode belongs in the canon alongside such brilliant episodic masterpieces like the series finale of MASH or the episode of True Detective with Alexandra D’addario.

DGC5 - age of the cigar you smoked? After all. ALL. Of the analysis and critique, praise of the blend was not what I expected. So it must be old stock then? Someone at the end there did say how did they not F this up. Give them time! When was yours boxed? And NC don't date boxes usually. So apropo due to the pricing maybe it is just old stock? Pricing, UK, 26£ each (20$.) F that! Monte 5 is 20£ here. What madness!

I've not caught a short smokes episode before this. Good format mix. I've collected a lot of short smokes. 

Once again amazed how many cigars you lot go through on average. Compared to my 2 or 3 a week average. Where do you even find the time!? Y'all doing something right.
