Shipping sticks to a mate in the US

Chaps, looking for some advice. I'd like to send a few sticks to a mate in the US. They'll all be Cubans. maybe 10 or so. It's been a while since we've seen each other, so want to send a bit of a care package. 

Any advice? I've heard about removing bands etc. 

Or just drop them in a normal package (boveda etc) and they'll be fine. 

For reference, he's Florida based.

Welcome to FOH.  I've done this in the past.  Not sure how things are these days. I used to put an NC band over some of the sticks or just mail them separately in a letter envelope ahead of time.

Given that there's a risk of confiscation.  Dont bother with a return address. At least not a legit one.

For example. 

Use "Deez Nutz" as the name. And for the address. Use one from a business in your area you don't particularly like.😁 In general, make sure it's a legit address from the postal area you'll be mailing it from.  As for name, just don't use yours. Something generic would do.  You don't want to be on a list just in case of an overzealous customs staff wants to score some points with the boss.
