Popular Post cashews39 Posted January 6 Popular Post Posted January 6 Warm afternoon/evening in TN and I had a good deal of time to kill so I thought I'd light up something to enjoy. This RyJ Churchill was in a box I haven't touched in a while. It had El Presidente's blue sticker of approval on it so I looked back to confirm this was from a 24:24 back on Oct 29, 2017. The ash fell off at about an inch and a half, and with it the pepper note nearly vanished. Body was down to the lower end of medium on this very smooth smoke. Allspice was top of mind, perhaps because it was used in a recent recipe in our house. A bit of sweetness came along and brought a graham cracker, or at times a salted caramel into the picture. Some small burn issues self-corrected as I continued on through the smoke. Final third or so was mostly the same. Spice was leaning more towards a nutmeg note with only difference was a bit of a floral flavor near the end. No cherries or fruit this time, but all-in-all a very enjoyable smoke. 9
JohnS Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I have the exact same box code (of this cigar). Thank you for the review! 1
