So 10 days of non stop Cuban and Non Cuban cigars……which ones resonated with me as top of the pops?

Mid-East shelf space is pretty much 50:50, Cuban to Non Cuban. Non Cubans have come out of nowhere in the past 5 years to fill the market hole left by Habanos’ s self obsession for head up ass.

I wouldn’t have believed possible that this much market share could be taken in such a short period of time. No talk of “Cuban Palate” and “Non Cuban Palate”. Good cigars are smoked/bad cigars are dropped from distribution. Price is taken into consideration when a consumer choice is made. Sensible solutions without bias.

My top 5 of the past 10 days?

Punch Punch  (Purchased in Limassol, the entire box was magnificent).

Bond Roberts Fenomenos  (smoked brilliantly all week).

I think we have the cheapest Upmann Magnum 54’s in the world. Either we have mispriced them or PCC has. You shouldn’t care either way.

I was saying on FOH zoom yesterday that my 2023 Upmann 54’s are as close to the Upmann 2 flavour profile as I can find. There is no greater compliment I could give.

Love them in 10’s! There are plenty of fans and for good reason.

Cream, cake, shortbread, mezzo espresso, burnt sugar nuances, starts mid bodied (but be prepared), smooth.

Perfect coffee and/or fortified companion.
