So what is the norm for Thanksgiving? And what is something that might be different to others?

Here is our line up:
Turkey
Cornbread Stuffing (with a 1/2 of can of black pepper in it)
Sweet potatoes (toasted marshmallows on top)
Creamed corn (toasted parmesan on top) different 
Home made cranberries
Rum Rolls (Hawaiian rolls soaked in lots of rum) different 
Pumpkin Pie
Pecan Pie
Choc Choc chip cookies

Turkey, smoked chicken, roasted Brussel sprouts oyster dressing, Shrimp stuffed mirliton, yams, Mac and cheeses, crab and brie soup and Whiskey cake here in Louisiana.

What does the 1/2 can of black pepper do for the cornbread stuffing?

It makes it peppery, hot and awesome😜I’m really not sure. All I know is it’s the way my grandpa always made  cornbread stuffing with a half a can of black pepper dumped in it!

2) Nonna's Turkey Soup with Escarole and Mini-Meatballs

3) Turkey, Sausage Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes w/garlic and fresh chopped Parsley, Sweet Potatoes, Corn, Carrots, Peas, Turkey Gravy, Mini-Dinner Rolls

4) Pumpkin & Blueberry Pie, Chocolate Candy

Whole Turkey with Gravy

Fresh cranberry chutney

Sausage cider stuffing

Mashed turnips with fried shallots 

Pureed chestnuts 

Mashed Yukon Gold potatoes 

Hashed Brussels sprouts 

Sweet potatoes 

Occasional mac and cheese 

Every pie and cookie ever invented, homemade bread.

Growing up on Cape Cod, the only unique change to our Thanksgiving line up is adding Linguica to the stuffing.  An ode the massive Portuguese population of this locale.
