Cavalier Genève Cigars Announces the Regional Edition Switzerland

Cavalier Genève Cigars has announced the release of its new addition to the Regional Edition part of its portfolio, a new cigar produced exclusively for the Swiss market.

After lots of reflection on this concept, following the creation of the original Regional Exclusive United States, Switzerland will be the second country to get a Regional Exclusive. This Regional Edition Switzerland will be offered in one vitola, a 109. The cigars will be released in 10-count boxes, produced to only 500 units for a total of 5000 cigars. The cigars have been aged for close to 2 years post-production before being shipped to Cavalier’s official Swiss importer, AMC Trading. AMC has been an active partner in the creation of this project over the last 3 years.

The cigars not only commemorate the birthplace of the brand, Genève, but are also an homage to a dear friend of Sebastien Decoppet, founder of Cavalier, and team member of the AMC team, Mauro Neri.

Cavalier Genève Releases Swiss Regional Edition

For its second Regional Edition release, Cavalier Genève is going home.

The company has announced that it has released the Cavalier Genève Swiss Regional Edition, a new limited edition that is only offered to stores in Switzerland. It is a 7 1/4 x 50 109, meaning it has a unique cap that is a hybrid between a standard round cap of a parejo and a pointed tip of a belicoso. Blend-wise, it uses a habano-seed wrapper from an undisclosed country over a Mexican San Andrés binder and four fillers: Estelí and Jalapa from Nicaragua, broadleaf from Honduras and a leaf grown in the Jamastran Valley in Honduras. Cavalier Genève says the cigars were rolled nearly two years ago.

Each cigar has an MSRP of 28 CHF ($34.95) and production is limited to 500 boxes of 10 cigars.

The company says this release is nicknamed Mauro, after Mauro Neri of AMC Trading, which is Cavalier Genève’s distributor in Switzerland.

This is the company’s second Regional Edition release; Cavalier Genève released the US Regional Exclusive in late 2022.
