Seriously, let’s hope not. As usual it’s completely unclear what the administration actually wants here, short of resignation by the Nicaraguan president.

Even run of the mill new world cigars going to be $25/stick by 2027/2028. 

I could see cigar smoking (not just CC) strictly becoming a 'luxury' splurge hobby. If it's not tariffs, it's going to be taxed into oblivion as a lot of places are already doing/considering. Curious to see the landscape in the next decade, I personally think it will be entirely different. I'm not aware of any government who really 'wants' tobacco imports and is considering relief for tobacco taxes, only talk of them going higher.

I have enough cigars, at my current rate of consumption, to reach 81.5 years of age before I run out. I still need to tread on the hamster wheel for around 40 more boxes. Crap.

I'd need 40 more years of cigars to get to that age. Guess I need another tower and about 20 Igloo coolers. Gonna keep Boveda in business for YEARS! 🤣
