JDoughty Posted October 20, 2025 Posted October 20, 2025 Smoked a few weeks after arrival. Sweet tobacco and baking spices on the cold draw and on first light. Cubanesque notes of hay, honey, leather, toasted sourdough and milk chocolate shading to dark chocolate covered raisins as the burn progressed. A touch of cedar danced in and out. Smoke volume was slightly thin but had a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. Flavor notes remained consistent through the last third, where the backbone ramped up a bit with some pepper and woodsiness. Overall very tasty, though the flavors were slightly muddled and did not change much throughout the smoke. Not quite as clearly structured or as elegant as either the FOH lancero or the lonsdale, but still a very tasty 90 minute smoke. Looking forward to see how it evolves with time and rest. 2
