Really good article by Charlie from HW on summarising Intertabak 2025. 

His final section on "Habanos has Left The Chat" is spot on. 

To think, only 6 years ago, Habanos were always the big dog in any room, able to stare anyone down. 

"For years, I’ve had to color my conversations about all of the non-American markets with the understanding that there is oftentimes this Habanos S.A. against the world mentality, or more likely, “all of us versus the Cubans.” That is the way that many of the people responsible for selling non-Cubans feel. As I said last year, “it’s called ‘non-Cuban’ for a reason.”

However, that’s no longer what it feels like. More specifically, a lot of times it feels like the Cubans are really off on their own island, completely irrelevant to everyone else in ways that everyone else is mostly irrelevant to Habanos S.A"
