Popular Post El Presidente Posted September 24, 2025 Popular Post Posted September 24, 2025 I was reading an article on the below cigar lounge in Dallas which also dabbles in antiques. This is one of the things I love about travelling through the USA. Quirky little cigar lounges, often in the middle of apparently nowhere. These are lounges that my accountant Artie would have me committed to an institution if I ever considered a financial interest. These quirky lounges always have a quirlky owner who sizes you up pretty quickly as not being a cock (hopefully). He/she makes you feel at home. If there is no bar he points to the liquor shop next door. Bottle of water always offered. loud air purifier always cranking. Baseball or football always playing. Next guy into the store will be welcomed as "brother Joe" or similar and they will yack away about everything and nothing. I relax and step back in time. I will take these places over an LCDH or Montecristo Cigar Lounge every damn time. I sometimes think US cigar lovers don't realise how lucky they are Mantiques Cigars is located at 301 W Eighth St. Dallas 13 2
Dluke08 Posted September 27, 2025 Posted September 27, 2025 Love Mantiques! Quirky is a great way to describe it. It’s a bit far from my house but quite close to my office so I try to stop in after work when I can to wait out the rush hour traffic. Glad you enjoyed your time there!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
