JDoughty Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Eh, they're fine. People pay serious money for the nicer looking ones in the States, they're bred in some lovely color morphs. I lived in a venom lab for years. My bathroom was occasionally a quarantine zone for mambas, Gaboon vipers and anything else that needed a high humidity setup but couldn't go into the main collection. No carpet pythons though. Good times. 2 1 1

They moved out when they couldn't put up with the mess downstairs any more. 8
JDoughty Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Having been in and around the reptile business for many years, knowing what some of these critters are worth, it always seems terribly unfair to me that the people who don't want them are the ones who end up with them. News articles about the person who got a free viper in their ornamental houseplant or a free super cool and very expensive venomous spider in their bunch of grapes make me want to pull a Karen and complain to the management that I didn't get one too. 1 2
