AshMe Nothing Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Newbie here! I like all things bourbon, aviation, and more recently cigars. As a former burly tobacco farmer I have much appreciation for the hard work involved in the process of making a good smoke. I recently discovered some Cohiba CCs that I stashed in my safe in an air tight coffee jar back in 2017, along with some others I brought home from the DR. The Boveda was still good at 69% and I had to try one along with several other NCs that had aged 6-7 years. I was amazed at how much they had changed and how smooth and complex they tasted. Fast forward 200+ cigar purchases later and I’ve found myself here.
AshMe Nothing Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago Thanks! I’m trying to slowly work my way back into cigar smoking again. I’m taking a little more time to focus on quality, aging, proper storage, and different flavor profiles. There is a ton of great info here. Im going to approach my cigar obsession similar to my bourbon obsession. Slowly and more deliberately finding what I like and want. There’s something more intimate and satisfying about finding the right flavor profile and age. Not really ready to jump into CC’s yet. Just got my first Nudies and MOFO’s today. Already ordered more lol
