El Presidente Posted August 13, 2025 Posted August 13, 2025 https://halfwheel.com/aganorsa-leaf-announces-tariff-price-increase/453654/ Effective Monday, Aug. 18, there will be a 6 percent surcharge added to all AGANORSA Leaf orders. The move is being done in response to the Trump administration’s tariffs, specifically the 18 percent tariff applied to imports from Nicaragua, which is where AGANORSA Leaf makes its cigars. Rather than changing the prices of its cigars, prices will remain the same, but when the order is processed, a 6 percent surcharge will be applied to the entire order.
Rupe Posted August 17, 2025 Posted August 17, 2025 This is how my company has been dealing with the tariffs. A 10% surcharge has been in effect since May. Since there is uncertainty whether the tariffs would increase, decrease or go away entirely at some point, a surcharge is more flexible and can be adjusted as needed to respond to the shifting situation. 1 2
JohnnyO Posted August 17, 2025 Posted August 17, 2025 Someone will eventually charge $1 for their sticks and $20/stick for shipping/administration/processing/user upcharge fees to avoid the duties. John 1
