Redgoldband Posted July 25, 2025 Posted July 25, 2025 Affixed below the branding band of our cigars, I, and others on the forum, frequently use a small band of white paper to denote information such as date received, factory code and year, and cigar name. I've seen this question pop up from time to time, but I'm curious what methods folks use to make their info bands. Do you buy them somewhere, precut with sticky glue? Or, like me, do you make your own from scrap paper and scotch tape? Would be great to hear about folk's and their experience with info bands, and sharing any tips. 1
Fuzz AI Posted July 25, 2025 Posted July 25, 2025 You could use Post-It Notes cut lengthways. Already pre-glued.
david9985 Posted July 25, 2025 Posted July 25, 2025 (edited) I use a Dymo label maker. This prints out a nice and simple band as a sticker. Obviously I don't stick directly to the cigar, but instead peel a little of the backing paper back at the end to fix the label to itself. Edited July 25, 2025 by david9985 Add pic 1
