Gemini_Man Posted July 20, 2025 Posted July 20, 2025 Whether it's a sinus or respiratory issue, head cold or worse, you haven't been able to truly enjoy a cigar for a period of time...what are you lighting up the day you feel well enough to get back to enjoying your cigars? Personally, I find my return to smoking leaves my palate a little dumber than it was before I was forced to take a break. I feel the need to have a few burner cigars just to reactivate my senses fully. Anyone else have to reorient themselves first before justifying a favorite or more expensive stick being lit? 3
Popular Post El Hoze Posted July 20, 2025 Popular Post Posted July 20, 2025 Not exactly your question, but I have always had a personal tradition of smoking a Punch DC when hungover. It’s like my cigar version of a blanket and comfort food. Luckily, I do not get many hangovers these days as I have cut back on the booze. I still find plenty of other excuses to smoke Punch DCs. 4 1

Magnum 54 is my blanket these days. Gingerbread house. 3

Redgoldband Posted July 21, 2025 Posted July 21, 2025 JL2. It's my baseline. If, after being sick, I can taste well when smoking it, then I'm clear to try my other, more expensive sticks. Made the mistake of hopping into a PSD4 after being sick, and couldn't tell if it was the cigar or me. Won't make that mistake again. 3
