To the victor go the spoils—and the cigars. We’re all familiar with victory cigars in sports, whether it’s Michael Jordan puffing away while holding the Larry O'Brien Trophy or an entire stadium (of the winning team) lighting up after the Alabama-Tennessee college football rivalry. Cigars are synonymous with winning, success and a rightfully earned indulgence. But Bocock Brothers, a boutique cigarmaker known for its officially licensed, college-themed smokes, is taking the victory cigar concept to the next level. The company just announced the release of two cigar lines specifically meant to honor recent NCAA champions—LSU Tigers baseball and Florida Gators basketball.

LSU baseball was crowned champion last month with its victory over Coastal Carolina at the Men’s College World Series. The Tigers took the best of three series in two games, earning their second title in three years and the eighth in program history. The Florida Gators were the last ones standing at the end of March Madness a few months ago, knocking off the Houston Cougars in a tight, back-and-forth game. For Florida Gators basketball, it was the third NCAA title in program history, all coming in the 21st century.

But for these two teams, the celebration isn’t over.

In conjunction with the university, Bocock Brothers is debuting the LSU Championship Commemorative Baseball Box. The special release is a limited-edition extension of the LSU Power House line released by Bocock Brothers before the season.

The new championship cigars, like the original line, are made in Honduras, and come in two sizes: Robusto (5 inches long by 50 ring gauge) and Toro (6 by 52). They are made from a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos, finished with Mexican San Andrés wrappers. The Robustos are available for $335 a box, or $16.75 apiece. The Toros go for $345 a box, or $17.25 a stick.

According to Bocock, these cigars are available in “extremely limited quantities.” Both sizes come in 20-count boxes that are finished in bright “LSU championship gold,” matching the shade of jerseys the team wore as they won the title this year. The top of each box features the official 2025 championship logo and the digital signature of head coach Jay Johnson.

Opening the box reveals a vibrant rendition of “The Intimidator,” a billboard that sits in right field of LSU’s home stadium that features a realistic, and menacing, tiger and the years the team won national championships. Each cigar is adorned with a custom gold foot band, the commemorative championship logo and a secondary purple band paying homage to the Power House series.

The cigars are available for pre-order now on the Bocock Brothers website and they’ll be shipping in August. You will be able to find the cigars at retailers throughout Louisiana following their release.

Bocock has also teamed up with the University of Florida for another officially-licensed, championship-themed cigar line. The collaboration isn’t all that surprising considering the team was smoking the Bocock Brothers Signature Edition Sumatra cigars in the post-game celebrations. But unlike LSU, this is new territory for the Gators. Even so, fans should also expect a very limited release.

The Florida Gators Men’s Basketball Championship Box includes 20 handmade, Honduran cigars. According to Bocock, “the blend was selected to reflect the character of the team—bold, resilient, and deeply rewarding.” In this case, that equates to a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and filler tobacco from Honduras and Nicaragua. These smokes, however, are available in only one size, a 6-by-52 figurado.

The box for these cigars is finished in Florida Gator blue, with the official 2025 national championship logo on the outside. Inside, a photo on the top lid captures the team and coaches in confetti-fueled celebration following their title victory. On either side of the cigars in the box, in true Florida fashion, there’s small strips of brown gator-scale leather underneath a pair of logos.

The cigars will be available for $375 a box, or $18.75 per cigar. You can buy them now on the Bocock Brothers website or through select retailers across Florida.
