Lunettesman Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Hi guys, Hope you're doing fine. I will be going to Thailand next week for holidays. Bangkok- Ko Samui and the islands-Sukothai. Any recommendations when importing the cigars? Lighters? Cutter? What would be your advice. I heard it's not a good idea to bring a jet flame with me, but then how to proceed once there? Bringing matches? Also are the LCDH worth visiting in Bangkok? What are the does and don't? Thank you
Montezüma Posted June 29 Posted June 29 I think Thailand had their first ever Regional Edition last year. Interesting how RE's have now begun to expand towards SEA region with Malaysia a couple of years prior. Maybe Vietnam should follow soon since they have a famous LCDH now. 1 2

Thank you No jet flame on flight for sure, you can buy a small jetflame from 7-11 locally or otherwise every other cigar lounge will have what you need. The Cohiba Atmosphere has the largest selection of cigars at the moment but it is not within a walkable distance from any train station so take a car. Bear in mind, Thailand is somewhat on the pricier end. LCDH Siam Kempinsky is a classic place to go to, the Sindhorn Kempinsky is newer and finally if you can bring your own. There is a whole lot of other places to go to with amazing sights. Let me see if I can put some videos together and will do a quick introduction on BKK! 1

Planning on bringing my stash. Maybe buy some on site but not really a plan as I have anything I need. I'm close to the Kempinski hotel during my stay.
Popular Post chasy Posted June 29 Popular Post Posted June 29 Be careful, I hear a lot of the habanos in Thailand aren’t what they appear to be. 7
Fuzz Posted Wednesday at 02:28 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:28 AM I usually stay at the Pathumwan Princess when I travel to Bangkok. Was thinking about staying at the Siam Kempinski on my next visit. Other places to smoke; Abandoned Mansion (can get a bit too smoky), Aqua Bar, Whisgars (food is pretty good). 2 1
