with all the endless crap these days, nice to have something like this. 

No idea who the girl is (or if it is all a set-up – the look on the singer's face when the girl starts probably suggests it might not be), but this was some bloke who busks in New York at his piano and Scott Hoyling from Pentatonix (if you have not seen it, google their Little Drummer Boy – amazing) happened to be there.

What follows is a bit of magic.

i checked out a few more of his. he often appears with young kids who are genius on the violin. great fun. there is one of him and a kid doing carmen. also, the girl in the video seems to appear regularly. she does a great one in Paris, I think, where they do 'I will survive'. 

but yes, even if staged, love them. the other reason i suspect staged is that the filming seems to be way too many angles and too professional to be spontaneous. but i still can't help smiling.
