You have to love a speakeasy

After filming yesterday, I had a chance to visit a relatively new cigar lounge in my city which was just around the corner from the shoot. 

I love meeting people in this business and the owners of this establishment were simply outstanding with their genuine welcome and warmth/ hospitality. They showed me around the beautiful walk in humidor, I met and spoke to each of the team and happily answered questions regarding cigars/blending process before we sat down together to smoke a cigar. I thoroughly enjoyed the 2011 H Upmann Noella. 

The best thing? 

The store managed to ignore every regulation/rule pertaining to tobacco in the state and country. They simply operate as if the laws re indoor smoking or plain packaging do not exist. It's a parallel universe.

Bloody brilliant. I love mavericks. They are moving to a larger location and I promised to give them a hand to promote themselves among my crew.......who have a penchant/respect for the art of the dodgy.
