In Celebration of the Piramide Corta Suave

I haven't seen anyone really mention this cigar, but I have to say, after giving a 5er a try, I feel like I've stumbled onto something special and very much under the radar. I can see why Hamlet has been making these for himself.

There was a moment there where I was thinking to myself, I wonder how different these really are from Trinity Robusto. So I smoked one right after the other. I came away noticing that the Piramide Corto is somewhat smoother, slightly sweeter almost. 

Either way, just wanted to say, great job and thank you! Will be getting more.

After I won a bundle of them I was surprised I couldn't find much info or reviews for them, looking forward to trying.

Had one today. Been sitting since January. Had a few before. 

First half inch is spicy. But then smooths out. It's really nice for me now. A little bit of sweetness. Great aroma. There's always a touch of spice coming in and out. I have to dilute the smoke a lot to retrohale, but worth it. Builds to a decent strength but stays medium in body. And keeps me interested. Leaves a mild finish. For me a slightly spicy, dried fruity profile. But not intense.
