In the ongoing attempt to make my Cuban stash last as long as possible I picked up a handful of petit coronas to fill the spot for Partagas Shorts, HUHC etch. Today I tried the Tatuaje Black label in a nice 4x40 size. Its rolled beautifully with a shaggy foot.

From the start the cigar is a nice medium mix of pepper and wood notes. I am focusing on smoking this slow as I imagine it would overheat quickly.

Smoke is pretty creamy overall offering good smoke output. A bit of leather joins the mix.

Overall a nice medium body smoke that I would certainly buy again for the sub $4 price. The last third ended up a bit bitter and burnt tasting - something I rarely get with my Cuban petit coronas. Still hard to fault it with the nice price tag.

This one went out on me a few times through the smoke. Wasn't puffing any slower than other petit  coronas so maybe is just a fluke. Not a huge deal overall.
