In an email, the company said that the change amounts to a 3.67 percent increase across the company’s portfolio, though some SKUs—notably those with Connecticut broadleaf wrappers—have increased by as much as 5 percent.

“I figure at this point given that most companies have already waxed poetic in a million different ways about why there are price increases, I will not bore you with it again,” said Steve Saka, the company’s founder. “I wish I could tell you that cost increases have begun to slow and stabilize, but at this moment this is not the case. Hopefully they will, but until they do you should expect increases annually until inflation slows.”
