Received a bundle of 25 of these today and thought I’d smoke one ROTT. Visually these are easy on the eye and the aroma released when removing the cellophane was gorgeous.

The cigar had a nice weight to it, absolutely packed to the rafters. I went with a straight cut, the pre light straw felt snug.

First third: after a couple of puffs, the draw opened up nicely and produced a nice volume of smoke with just the right amount of effort. Opening was medium and a nice white ash began to show. I picked up notes of bread and faint coffee, the retro was fairly smooth with just a slight tickle.

Second third: the ash held on firmly and formed a nice stack of dimes. Taste wise, it was similar to the first third, but with the addition of a faint raisin note without the sweetness. Teetering between medium and just under, no tickle on the retro anymore and completely smooth.

Final third: finished off with more bread, the coffee note picked up and a nuance of barnyard made an appearance.
