Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure #2 23 (RotR25)

Got a 3-pack from an LCDH. First one was great, and I was really looking forward to enjoying this outside on this 50 F degree day.

Nice dark wrapper. Cedar on the cold draw. Rich flavors right from the light. Wood, leather, forest floor. Then the burn got weird on me.

Got through the first third alright, then I needed to touch up with a lighter. It kept getting worse though. I had to work to keep it lit through the second third. I usually take my time but I had to stay on this one.

Last third was a little better. It had nice flavors throughout with more cream in the final third, but the burn was really frustrating. Ripped through this one in 50 minutes, which is way faster than usual for me.

Holding out hope that the last one in the 3-pack is more like the first than this one.

Ya win some and you lose some, I guess.
