CAO Mx2 Robusto 5x52

Last year a friend gave me all his remaining NC cigars after he had some health issues related to smoking. About 2 dozen cigars total, none of them have been that great, but a free cigar is a free cigar.

Dry boxed overnight and punch cut. Evidently, this cigar contains tobacco from the US, Brazil, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Peru, and Honduras. Flavors were pleasant and smooth, with a good amount of smoke, and a typical NC maduro profile of earth, coffee, and cocoa. The cigar would not stay lit though, after several relights I decided to go for a straight cut hoping that would alleviate the burn issues, but it did not. Although I was mostly enjoying I could not keep relighting and gave up. Although its kind of spring here now, I was freezing, so it seemed like time to be done. I might try one again if I had the chance, but doubt I would pay for another.
