Popular Post djrey Posted February 24 Popular Post Posted February 24 Maduro wrapper in this one. Have a handful that I have been sitting on for a while. Used to really love these cigars, especially at the price point. $4.29 price tag on the cellophane. Draw is open - classic for Padron. Starts out medium body. Chocolate and black pepper. Moving along with a great burn. Flavors more or less stay the same. Smoke is very smooth and creamy. No harsh edges to speak of. Still the same chocolate and pepper. Finishes out more or less the same. The smoke is smooth and one dimensional. Some of the richness has been lost in favor of the smoothness. Good cigar at a value. Not sure what these go for these days. 85 pts 8
TacoSauce Posted February 24 Posted February 24 That pic brought back memories of the Padron Fumas -- which was a super inexpensive, mixed filler Padron stick that was easy on a college student's budget. They discontinued those a long time ago and the Londres picked up the slack -- but at a steeper price. 1
mikejh Posted February 24 Posted February 24 It’s been way too long since I’ve had a regular Padron. 1
Ruggerpgh99 Posted February 24 Posted February 24 They stopped making these and its a crying shame. One of my all-time favorites. Local BnM owner and I lament its loss and if it ever comes back we will corner the market on them. 3

Would love some bundles of 50 of those right now for the colder months. 4 hours ago, Ruggerpgh99 said: They stopped making these and its a crying shame. One of my all-time favorites. I just snagged a box of the Delicias Maduro, which are the closest things I can find to that Londres. I need to snag a few more boxes of that just to keep around, I much prefer that to the 2000 or 3000.
