How much importance do you put on factory codes?

QC isn't getting any worse. 

QC improved consistently from 2001 onwards. In my mind we are where we were in 2020. QC improved consistently until then and has plateaued. 

2003/14/15 had some exceptional cigars. Every year does but those years delivered to me, more than their fair share pf 96 pointers.

Very little! I reckon it depends more on the roller and the tobacco on hand at the particular factory on the day. Had some legendary box codes too BTO, MUO, TOS. But then you get a random box code and it's the best you've ever seen.
