El Presidente Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Ok kind of a Supid question...... Why with cigars is Havana spelled "Habana"? What are the El's for 2006? And a personal question for all....i have been on vacation in Puerto Rico for close to a month, and have 2 more weeks to go. I have been longing to smoke my beloved cigars, but in this hot humid area i just dont enjoy them as much as back home in California. Ithink i am so accustomed to my smoking "place" that something differnt is hard to acclamate to. Anyone had this problm before? 1. Habana is Spanish for Havana 2. 2006 LE's are a 5th Anniversary release of LE's ie Cohiba Pirimide, Partagas Serie D No 3 & Montecristo Robusto. There will also be a Cohiba 40th Anny release. 3.You have complete control of your cigars at home. Temp, humidity etc. When you transpose to a hot and humid climate the cigars will burn at a different rate and will invariably be at a different moisture level to what you are used to. Cigars also do not travel well. They need 3 weeks to acclimatise to the new conditions or more accurately, under controlled conditions need 3 weeks to get them the way you like them.
