Cuba's National Electric Union reported it had run a deficit of nearly 1600 megawatts with a demand approaching 3,200 MW around supper time on Thursday, leaving millions without lights, fans and air conditioning as night fell. https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/nearly-half-cuba-without-power-blackouts-deepen-2024-10-04/
NSXCIGAR Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Nothing new here. Half of Cuba lives in the countryside and they've been having serious blackouts for years. Havana and the surrounding areas are usually at a 30-90 min blackout in the afternoons.
