unaslob Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 For number three, I will present a lovely and again well constructed 2021 Churchill. This appears to be well constructed. Feeling between the fingers it does have a slight firmness which can be concerning, however, gazing up I see my perfect draw nearby. The wrapper I would describe as a Claro color to almost Claro plus. It is only been in my possession for about six months but it’s been stored at about 62:62 and dry box for one day prior to today. Fortunately, I know this little website that allows me to purchase age. Once again I chose a v-cut as customary for me. Upon dry draw my eyebrow started the raise with slight worry in my hand reached out just to know my perfect draw was nearby. Dry draw was earthy with vegetal That pairs well with the celebration of the harvest of our local farms. Lighting the cigar was quite easy. In fact, as soon as the heat permeated through the cigar, it loosened up almost immediately, the perfect draw can wait for another day thankfully. Lighting it gave me some very initial raisin notes that disappeared almost immediately. The first third was dominated by sweet cream to chocolatey notes. I was sitting down from the stick and almost immediately as the smoke lofted toward me while sitting in the ashtray I detected, hot chocolate that lasted throughout most of the stick. This was new for me to have such a strong sweet odour wafting off the end of the stick in a non-flavored cigar. The ash initially was quite bright white, but almost 1 inch and turned into a honey brown, which remained for the entirety of the stick. The second third continued where the first third let off, settling down into more creamy milk chocolate tones, some slight vanilla. There is nothing harsh about this. The last third did have some bitterness to it as it was smoking rather quickly and I think it was getting just a bit too hot. Slowing down the pace as well as performing couple of purges allowed it to get back to its first half. Overall, the burn was quite even the perfect draw finally was able to come out, but not for its intended purpose, I used it to nub the cigar down to the very end. Smoke production was mild as well as nicotine content. Given how much I probably inhaled standing near it I expected not to be able to walk, but overall was pleasantly surprised by its mildness in this nature. This was my first out of the box and happy to know I have nine left (hint hint). Typically, I am a fan of somewhat shorter Cuban cigars as I find that what they start in middle with they never can seem to finish on the longer smokes however, this one did not disappoint. With time I can imagine they will only get better however, I would be happy true to continue to smoke these throughout the rest of the year and had a little website to find some more that have some age. With this stick, Jack and Stephen have made their night-time trek over the desert and are back familiar grounds in a new ship navigating the narrow Suez gulf facing a hot Egyptian wind. Will remain naval theme and rank this in a higher order second rate ship of the line. 3

hangten Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 Monte Double Edmundo would be my guess. 1
zeedubbya Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 The only Churchill sized cigar which comes in a box of 10 is the RyJ Churchills Tubos. This is my guess.
