When I first cut the cigar and took a cold draw I had a lot of strong earth and hay notes. Once I lit it up it was like a creamy leather with nuts and the strongest most forward flavor was umami. This would have paired well with a 40-day wet aged steak. At about the 2/3 mark more wood began to appear and the wood it most resembled was pine.
