Yet another gifted "Cuban Cigar" 🫤

(See below) This "Partagas Serie D No 4" was given to me by a friend who just returned from Cancun. It was in cello, smells very much like a philly blunt, the band is off, and has several noticeable soft spots. I don't have the heart to poo-poo his thoughtful gift. Also, to his credit ... he once brought me a real Romeo No. 2 from Canada.  

But Canadian No. 2 aside, every other "Cuban cigar" I've been gifted has been bunk. Has to be close to a dozen by now. I try to tell friends & family to refrain from getting cigars but they don't listen lol. (see below) In June, there was those BBF bought from the "nice man" that came with a free hat just steps away from a LCDH.  🤣

Do you guys have this same dilemma? Sad to see good money wasted.
