Popular Post Fishey Posted August 3, 2024 Popular Post Posted August 3, 2024 First time trying this one also! Wrapper looks good, crackling a lot though when lightly pinched, maybe too dry? Cold draw is reminding me of a faint epi no.2 taste, so happy and looking forward to lighting it up! the draw itself is good, almost loose, but still good! Reminding me of a NC draw. First third: just as other people depicted, the flavors are like a sharper epi no.2!! Great taste although a bit low intensity in flavor. Wishing for more. Second third: the flavours are still great: creamy, milky, twangy, cedary and a hint of floral notes. The intensity is still low though, needing to push myself to really get the flavors. I'm beginning to think that the retailer has bad humidity and dried out most of his cigars, since all cigars from this place are pretty bland. (They looked very dry when I bought them). Last third: a bit of a raise in the intensity of flavor, and because of the short length I feel it didn't get time enough to transition/develop to its full potential, leaving me lacking a bit. Overall: even if its a pretty mild cigar, I still enjoyed it a lot! The Hoyo profile is undeniable and really outstanding. 8/10 Drank some coffee with oat milk, which goes well with the creamy taste of the cigar. I'm a big sucker for sweet cream. If you know another cigar with this profile please tell me!😊 5
Habanoschris Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 I have a couple of boxes EBS 19 that started off tasty in 2020 then needed rest. They have been pretty nice again with some age, yours may benefit from some time as well. 👌😚💨 1
