Great theme this week. I am in recovery. Kombucha is one of my go to drinks to pair. I find it cleans the palate well. Without interference of the flavors. I smoke on my patio. Surrounded by huge oak trees. Always in the company of Rye and Lilly. My two dogs. Lilly often sits on my lap. It is my favorite place. There are flowers, herbs, etcetera. It is just peaceful.

 

1/3 Beautiful chocolate wrapper. These are fresh. Pure barnyard aroma on the wrapper. Initial draws are touch tight. This is straight cocoa, chocolate, touch of vanilla.

2/3
Chocolate still dominates. Dark and milk. Underneath that is a subtle cream vanilla. 

 

Final 3rd
Flavor changes a bit. Chocolate with a bit of a root beer spice. Vanilla is gone. Slight molasses/burnt caramel lying underneath. The draws have been tight the whole way. Also needed multiple touch ups. 

I would rate this as enjoyable. These need some time down. Great balanced flavors but had burn issues and the draw was tight.

Looks like a small slice of paradise you have in which to smoke there.

Yes my favorite it's called Lively Up. They are local company out of Muskegon, Michigan. Not sure how available they are outside of the area. Give it a whirl though I find most Kombumcha makes a great pairing!
