Popular Post Habanoschris Posted July 12, 2024 Popular Post Posted July 12, 2024 I have probably smoked at least one third of my 25 bundle of these since getting them in Springtime. * I will be uploading a proper video review of these as well this weekend on my YouTube account. They have been consistently good. Today's Lancero starts off very flavorful and has a complex mouthfeel and finish from first puff that my palette usually has reserved for Cuban cigars. First third is nice blend of creaminess, wood & leather. This particular Lancero actually has me thinking Sancho Panza Non Plus (just needs a dash of salt.) There is also a faint or non-descript sweetness that is enjoyable . In the second third tasty cream and wood and a pleasant finish continue & the faint sweetness from the first third now develops into a nice caramel note. Burn and draw have been spot on w/ bright white ash. Last third caramel continues nicely as well as a pleasant creaminess and a sweet bread note. There is a deep sweet leather on retrohale. Great finish remains and I notice a nice twang on my lips. Cigar smoked for quite a long time like a good lancero should and was very well constructed. After shying away from NC cigars I have been surprised just how enjoyable these are...these do not disappoint 👌😚💨 7 2
vvvendo1969 Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 Thank you for your nice review. I have already smoked all my 2023 Desnudo Lancero. And I believe that 2023 Desnudo Lancero had a high aging potential. 1
Habanoschris Posted July 12, 2024 Author Posted July 12, 2024 Interesting/Thanks for that tip. Perhaps I'll set the last 7 or 8 aside and age them out. And thanks for reading - if you get a chance look for my video review. 🙏
Cello Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 Wonderful cigar! I thoroughly enjoyed the one I had this morning. 1
