This is a Don Pepin Garcia blend for Ashton's San Cristobal brand. The wrapper is super toothy and rough as a result but has a nice oil sheen to it.

First third is light all the way around. Light body, light strength and light flavor. Flavor notes are a bit tough to pinpoint but consist of nuttiness, cedar and generic tobacco sweetness.

Second third is still light all the way around. Toasted nuts, cedar, and sweet cream.

Final third, busted! Literally! It exploded. The flavors were starting to pick up a bit with a nice molasses sweetness coming in but overall, too little to late. I didn't finish the final third.

This was not a very enjoyable cigar and it has left me wanting another cigar. I like lighter strength cigars but not light on flavor or body. Overall a 55 for me. Not my cup of tea. This would be good for someone who wants to look like they are smoking a cigar without having to deal with that pesky smoke or flavor.

Imagine wasting 45 minutes to find out you have not smoked anything 😭
