Popular Post Gamehawker Posted June 6, 2024 Popular Post Posted June 6, 2024 Well I decided to smoke a good Cuban cigar to celebrate still being alive (I had my defibrillator replacement surgery on Monday) and I also got my Real Estate listing under contract too. I have not smoked a Cuban cigar for quite a while because I have been smoking the Nudies ‘23 and the MOFOH cigars lately. This cigar with the same box code was reviewed in 2020 with Rob and Ken so I found and bought 2 boxes of 10’ sometime shortly after the video review came out because the rating of this cigar and box code was a 95 by both Rob and Ken. The first third was glorious with oozing Milk Chocolate flavor and it was just under medium in strength. The second third continued with the amazing Chocolate flavor but it was more like a Dutch Chocolate and the strength increased to a medium. The final third still continued with an incredible Chocolate flavor but steered towards a deep dark Chocolate. The strength increased to slightly over medium and I smoked it to the nub. Being that this Montecristo No. 2 is now almost 5 years old there were no edges or harshness and the flavor lingered on my taste buds long after the 75 minutes to smoke this fabulous cigar. I usually prefer H.Upmann No. 2s instead of Montecristo No. 2s but this cigar was the exception. There were no touch-ups and the burn was razor sharp. Rob and Ken gave this Montecristo No. 2 a score of 95 but that was when they smoked it in less than a year from the box code date. Now since it is almost 5 years old, it has evolved into an absolute amazing example of what a Montecristo No. 2 can be. I give it a score of 98. 7
JoeyBones777 Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 The best cigar I ever smoked was a 5 year old Monte 2 from June 2012. It was like smoking chocolate cookies and cream from first light to finger burning nub. 3

The best Monte 2 I had smoked was 5-6 y/o had some chocolate, was viscous, and had a really beautiful level 10 twangy sweetness that was part floral part dried fruit 🤷🏻♂️. The last quarter of the box all smoked like this & still remember the flavor. 👌 2
