Former Hall of Fame Baseball legend, Sandy Koufax (aka 'the left arm of God'), former tennis player Ivan Lendl and singer Gloria Estefan currently reside there. Those who live in the Sunshine State and plenty of people up north know about Vero Beach. An absolute gem of a city on Florida’s East Coast, Vero Beach offers a beautiful downtown as well as world class beaches. Right by the airport is a very elegant lounge called Catelli Cigar Lounge. Michael and Kathy Catalano have put so much thought into the beauty and flow of this lounge which makes it such a pleasure to visit that people have dubbed catelli as the “Cheers of Vero Beach.”

The humidors are cabinets with a glass top, which I personally have never seen before. You make your cigar selection, and then your host will slide the drawer out and get you your choice. There is a bar with a great beer and wine selection, and many times there is a wine sommelier on the premises to guide you in your wine drinking decisions. Catelli also has their own line of cigars available as well which are made by Noel Rojas, so you can best assured you are smoking something very palatable!

An absolute must when you are here, is to challenge Michael to a game of stump the drummer! He will take you into the back room where his drum kit is located, and then you will give hime a song and see if he can play the drums perfectly along with the song. Every once in a while he will be stumped, but you will revel in seeing and hearing Mr. Catalano’s expertise on percussion!
