Partyshrts Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 This was posted by Warrior Princess. I started smoking Cigars in the early 90's and went through the Cigar boom in the United States at that time. There was definitely a price correction. Would there ever be correction in the Habanos market? I don't think it would be possible with the Global demand but I only have a small perspective being from the US. "Do we have the ingredients for a correction?…….or is there still too much global money happy to provide a home in mid to high end cigars?. Your guess is as good as mine, but the limits are being pushed in this global game of cigar Jenga. 😉"
Partyshrts Posted May 28, 2024 Author Posted May 28, 2024 Looking for advice from long time buyers of Cuban Cigars. Is there a chance, or at least a good chance that prices come down in the next 3 years or should I back up the truck right now? I fear that pretty soon 24:24 will mean 24 hours...24 boxes again.

Instead, maybe buy moderately over the next 3 years and it'll even out.
RDB Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 My advice, for what little it’s worth, is to chill out. If you are trying to build up a range of options and age some stock, just keep buying more than you smoke. Never panic, never rush. Buying cigars is not likely to change your life in a big way, just focus on enjoying them. As to the market, I suspect Cuban cigars are going to keep getting more expensive in real terms, ie outpace general inflation.
MagicalBikeRide Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 Yeah, agree with those above. I can’t see a world where Cuban cigars ever cost less than they do now. But that doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to just buy as much as you can. Take it easy, find out what you like and go steadily from there.
Chitmo Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 Just buy what you like that’s in your budget, speculation ruins a good smoke. Just enjoy them 😊
