Popular Post teamrandr Posted May 26, 2024 Popular Post Posted May 26, 2024 Opening draws are tight. Right out the gates rich havana tobacco notes. A slight wood is mixing in with a caramel / honey like note. Initial tannic flavor seems to be fading. Espresso/coffe notes round this out. The burn is a little wonky and requires a few touch ups. The retrohale has a bite to it and highlights the espresso notes. 2/3 Thankfully the draws have opened up. The honey not seems more pronounced. Almost Graham cracker like. Slight havana saltiness. This is developing quite well. The saltiness is pronounced on the retrohale. Not getting wood anymore but a bit of cream is there. A definite cake/Graham cracker is in the background. The retrohale provides some sort of spice. Tannic notes return. A reminder that this is really fresh. The burn line needs attention here and there. I find these to be strong. I get a strong nicotine effect. 2/3 Flavors seem to be going the espresso route. Cream is gone. Slight cocoa note and molasses like sweetness. It seems as though I may somehow be more sensitive to nicotine than before. The effects are a tad distracting. Rich cocoa and espresso are in play. Final 3rd Draws are perfect. Graham notes are still there. Just a deeper almost burned caramel like note. This is rounding out quite well. There are tannic notes. But overall a wonderful mix of flavors. Not overly complex but balanced. 85 I doubt these will make it past this summer. They are quite good right now. They would most definitely benefit from 2 or 3 years down. 5
