Popular Post Çnote
@Capn_Jackson This is going to be very free form Cap'n and I smoked this together and immediately started to talk about flavors We'll also be joined by a new FoH member maybe. 1st impressions: honey, white pepper, chestnut. My burn is terrible. At about 1/2 way, it picks up that classic twang of orange peel. Elegant power. Roasted nuts, touch of leather and spice. Citrus and honey. Velvet texture. Getting to the band, graham cracker, cinnamon, lemon zest, candied ginger. In the nub, huge intensity of toasted tobacco, burnt sugar, citrus oil. I take it down until my fingers burn and the touch of bitterness takes over. A roller coaster. These are great. 7/10 due to burn. 10/10 for flavor.
Popular Post Capn_Jackson
Awesome time at the lounge today with @Çnote and others, including who will hopefully be a new member here soon. Flavor hits right away. Notes of hay and grass, a little dried berry. The first few puffs have got a little more pepper than I’d like, but it goes away after ten minutes or so. Not overpowering, but more than I’d like. Cashew butter. Toasted tobacco. Hay. Baking spices. Less honey than I’m used to in a CoRo, but instead there is a mix of saccharine and agave… not unpleasant in the saccharine department…. Sort of a Juicy Fruit gum vibe. Cashew butter. The burn is pretty bad in mine as well, requiring touchups throughout, and even a few relights. Around the midpoint, getting more floral honey notes, some graham cracker sweetness, cinnamon and nutmeg. A tiny hint of leather hiding behind it all. Distracted for a bit because our friend turned the channel to World Chase Tag. That’s right….. professional Tag. Amazing! Parkour mixed in throughout. Possibly more athletic than any sport I’ve seen on tv. Last act, the sweetness gets darker, reminding me more of toasted caramel, caramel corn maybe, and a little praline perhaps. Several relights required unfortunately near the nub, but honestly flavor doesn’t suffer much. A little bitterness as I get close to the band, nothing heinous. Ends with caramel and earth, roasted cashew, popcorn, and a shade of leather. Good smoke, even better company! My score, 90. Would’ve been higher but for burn issues and a little bit of bitterness near the end.

raggie
I like the double perspective review here! Interesting to read the different notes but overall same flavor gradient and same issues experienced by all parties. And welcome @Tobaccofanatiko!
Popular Post Tobaccofanatiko
Howdy FoH! Thanks @Çnote @Capn_Jackson for the invitation. I was also able to enjoy this with them and here are my notes: Cedar lit, paired with black coffee. Start: Sweet hay aroma, warm soft honey on a biscuit, very mild pepper. Early Mid: Black pepper gravy on that biscuit Mid: Less creamy now... more pepper forward, still bready. Was working so had to relight, may have just been too hot. Early End: Burnt sugar, no longer creamy, mild pepper and charred wood. End: Mostly wood and mild pepper, never was harsh. Definitely enjoyed the first 2/5ths more than the end but overall a fine smoke. Sorry no photos from me this go around.
