Popular Post Li Bai Posted February 20, 2024 Popular Post Posted February 20, 2024 So...It's my first review in English, I apologise in advance. ๐ ๐ Superb cigar offered by a good friend of mine! 8 inches long, 38 RG, made of a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobacco with a Honduran wrapper. The cigar is definitely a beauty and smells really good. I often consider a smoke like a conversation so bear with me ๐. This one was just whispers for a third, I didn't quite understand what it was telling me and then it became less shy. The second third was comforting, really sweet, at that point I told myself we were totally getting along but unfortunately the last third would be terrible... There's no more discussion, we're just arguing at that point and despite my efforts I couldn't take it anymore so I let it down with no regret after more than 2 hours. Just like a blind date, shy at first then comfortable with each other until it turns out the lady is just a remarkably good looking bully...Too bad, I don't like (too much) aggressiveness. 3/5 16 1
JohnS Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 To compare a cigar to the art of conversation, specifically to how appealing it can be, well...it's just brilliant. I love your style there, @Li Bai! 3 1

Expand You're both very kind, I often feel a bit awkward writing a review as I don't really taste cigars (tastes, flavours don't really make sense to me), rather, I feel them and it can be hard to find the good words so thank you, I appreciate it ๐ค 6 1
raggie Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 Similar to the other posts, I really enjoyed this style of review. Itโs cool to read about hints of peppermint patties or week-old chip crumbs from between the couch cushion, but this โconversationโ metaphor really works for my understanding. Iโll probably steal your ideas, especially when talking in real life. Good work @Li Bai! 1
