eaglebear29 Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 Bishops Blend by Black Label Trading Co. 4.5 x 36 Petite Corona Bought a few singles, so I'm not quite sure the age. Wrapper: Pennsylvania Broadleaf Binder: Ecuadorian Habano Filler: Nicaraguan/Pennsylvania/and Conneticut First 3rd Bitter chocolate and coffee on the cold draw, same flavors on the light up, very smooth and creamy on the smoke texture. There's a hint of coffee not too strong though. As the first third starts it tastes of having bitter creamy unsweetened hot chocolate. Very good. Finishing off the first third now tastes like a brownie mix, with only a little sugar from the bitter chocolate, so not much, there's extra milk and an egg in this making it a real creamy. Second 3rd there is a plain dark and very creamy minimal sugar brownie mix with a hint of coffee on the tongue that comes and goes. As it transitions into the end of the second 3rd I'm now getting chocolate-chocolate cookie with bittersweet chocolate bits with that extra milk in the mix instead of water and extra egg making this mix extra creamy choco cookies. The Final 3rd This double chocolate cookie with milk has slightly burned crispy edges, not in a bad way. Crispy burned as in baked to get the softness out and the crispiness is now bringing out the little bit of sugar caramelizing it from the chocolate. Overall I loved this smoke and would like to put a few more down to see how they age. I'd rate this one as a great smoke for me, I love full flavor, full strength sticks. I also overall don't like selfies, take a picture of me commercial fishing having fun being goofy, never the dreaded selfie though 😆but there ya go. 4
