Popular Post Tradesman Posted January 3, 2024 Popular Post Posted January 3, 2024 Pre-light: Woody cold aroma. Cold draw reminds me of sweet soybean/green beans. Very interesting so far. Love the band, very cute. First third: Blast of that same soybean/green bean note from the cold draw. This time intermingled with some nuts and caramel. Overall smoke feels viscous and creamy. Great start so far. Throughout the first third, soybean note has now settled into something like cereal. Overall flavour profile is a sweet creamy cereal with some dry wood. This is surprisingly full-flavoured. No strength to speak of thus far. Not much spice on the palate. Retrohale: Woody, sweet paprika cream (slight spice) and some nuts. Second third: Profile doesn't change much, although it intensifies. More spice introduced in the retrohale. It is very much paprika forward now. Strength is now light-medium. Final third: Now it's transformed into a sweet wheat biscuit with nuts. Other than that the flavour profile doesn't change much. Same DNA just different clothing. But it's an enjoyable profile. Strength is now medium. Overall score: 88 Nice daily smoke that you can't go wrong with. This only loses points for lack of complexity but otherwise it's a good recommend. 6
GVan Posted January 3, 2024 Posted January 3, 2024 Good review and flavors you describe are pretty close to what I was getting although I have to think about the green bean flavor. The one I smoked was less than 60 days down and resting but I was impressed enough to put away three boxes. I think they just need 6 months to a year and then many of the flavors will intensify. I'm hopeful, the caramel makes a bigger appearance after some rest. My next one will be in about 3 to 4 months.

Couldn’t think of something better than bean 😂. It doesn’t last long and it does transition into cereal/wheat afterwards. So it might just be an anomaly. But definitely overall a nice profile that I’m happy to smoke anytime! 1
