Walk In Humidor…Alternative to Spanish Cedar?

I am on my quest to build a walk in humidor for my ever expanding collection. It is very small at 1.7m x 1.4m with ceiling height of 3.3m and also a temporary one while waiting for a new section of my house to be built, then it will be followed/replaced by a proper much larger one once the house renovation is done in about 6-12 months. 

This temporary walk in humidor is now surrounded by proper brick wall without any exposure to outside elements (all walls are surrounded by another air conditioned rooms), fitted with double glazed fully weather stripped UPVC door and inside the walk in  I am running dedicated split AC along with Stadler Form - Albert dehumidifier and Brune B120 humidifier. Bought some Ikea wooden racks and assembled everything in a jiffy just to later realized that pine wood has no place in a humidor and I have to tear apart the Ikea shelving from the room. 

I spent last night browsing about alternative to Spanish cedar to use for the wooden racks. I live in Indonesia and nobody imports Spanish cedar here as we have the abundance of various wood log ourselves. Based on hours of research from last night I have narrowed down my choice to meranti or teak wood, ruled out mahogany because our local mahogany is the red mahogany which I was told is a no no for humidor. Bought some sample of meranti planks this morning and can confirm that it’s got a very weak aroma but the profile is definitely very similar to Spanish cedar, no wonder the meranti wood has been advised as a good alternative in some European website. The problem is that meranti is definitely not a beautiful wood and it is not termite/beetle/bugs resistant as opposed to teak. I had read last night about somebody in Europe advising on teak wood as a beautiful wood with aroma profile that should complement cigar nicely, as I have used teak wood extensively on my other house I know how it smells and I think the aroma profile should fit cigar storage nicely because tobacco is definitely one of the main aroma profile of teak wood. However, nobody ever write anything conclusive on the matter so I am still a bit at lost here.

Can anybody advise me on the matter? Please do not advise importing Spanish cedar because any unfinished wood log/planks requires special permit and heavy tax to be imported.
