Popular Post Tunkat92 Posted December 26, 2023 Popular Post Posted December 26, 2023 Cold Draw: The wrapper is very nice, just a little oil sheen and fairly smooth. I chose a straight cut for today. The draw seems to have a touch of resistance and the cold draw had a touch of nuttiness. 1/3: The initial puff had a nice graham cracker note right up front. The rest of the first third was a dance between a graham cracker and lemon rind not with a consistent light black pepper finish. The richness and body was definitely medium-full. 2/3: Not a whole lot of change, I would get some occasional nuttiness/ earthiness. I think that was because I picked up the pace, and I started to get it a little got. 3/3: The profile seemed to balance out a little bit in the final third. The 'citrus-y' lemon rind note has disappeared, and has been replace by walnut, dry nutty note. I am also getting a touch of salt and mineral. Final Thoughts: 88 points. The burn was great, the smoke output was satisfying, and zero relights. The profile was not so great though. There was zero balance of flavors a touch of sweetness or cream would have rounded out the profile nicely. I will probably revisit these in 2-3 years and see if that helps. 8
