Popular Post MagicalBikeRide Posted November 28, 2023 Popular Post Posted November 28, 2023 Got out for a Monte #2 and a couple stout. Smoke was from a ten pack bought at JJ Fox Dublin in middle 2021, so no idea re box codes. Assume it was 2020 / 21. Below some notes I scribbled and pictures I took. 1/3 Cream, flat white coffee, milky hot chocolate - and whatever adjective people use to describe that typical Cuban salty / twangy flavour Great smoke output, clean burn, mild to medium 2/3 Chocolate croissant, a Swiss milk chocolate, coffee notes still there, some leather and sweet spice now but still light Generally burning great, moving toward medium 3/3 Smooth transition - all the choco notes still present, but now more of the leather and sweet spice, along with some wood / cedar and maybe salted almond nuts (the type you’d get at a really posh bar / hotel / farmers market) Burn razor sharp again, medium at most Accompanied by two cracking pints of G. Usual notes of cream and coffee and that glorious viscosity that is found only in certain boozers. Top notch evening. One of those that reminds me why I’ve been grabbing so many M2’s recently. 6
