Çnote Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 (edited) So, I got some cigars this past spring that for whatever reason I hadn't gotten around to. This one in particular I'd been looking forward to, but it's a massive 56x7.1in, much larger rg and length than I usually enjoy, so I had to plan a night for it. This immediately starts as a full bodied high throttle spice bomb that doesn't ever take its foot of the gas. I was prepared to write more detailed notes about transitions given it's size and reputation, but it's been a monolith for 4 inches now. I plan to smoke this to the nub and will update if there's anything else going on here. As it stands, if you're looking for consistent flavor for a couple hours on the back9? Here ya go. You want something quality for 2 hours to go along side high proof bourbon? Here ya go. I was often recommending this brand as an alternative to CC and had read some great reviews specifically on the DotW series, but I don't see a speck of CC flavor in this particular one. ~ Aftermath this did get interesting close to the nub, but the flavor intensity ramped up to 'unbearable.' Maybe a few years age? I did get some more my size Robusto recently, we'll see Edited November 28, 2023 by Çnote Postscript added 2
