djrey Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Maybe not a bang for buck if purchased today, but these are pretty much the king of that genre a few years ago. Opens with a nice woody bread characteristic. Like pumpernickel bread. Reminds me of the malty Oktoberfest beers I’ve been plowing through the last month. Medium body out of the gate. Very smooth dense smoke. Final half and the malt continues. Touch of forest floor funk. Pepper is present but not too much. Overall a great cigar, as they usually are. Cuba really nails this size. 91 pts. 4
