I saw the @gormag38 post on the latest CC Purchase thread regarding the Vegas Robaina Clasicos. 

 

 

 

 

These were one of my favourite cigars. So god damn tasty. The biggest issue with them was QC....but if the stars and moon alligned....they were magnificent.

While I've yet to smoke one, I must say the first thing I noticed with these were how TIGHT the roll seems to be. Very little give when I gave it a slight squeeze. 😞 

When the time comes, I'll dry box one for a day or two before indulging.

The absolute GOAT for me - specifically 2011 - and sent my friends and I down the aged cigar rabbit hole. Honestly, without the Clasico we probably wouldn't have done a podcast...it started the whole journey for us.

Until it was discontinued, the VR Clasicos was in my top 10.

I have 6 of them left and I just can't bring myself to reduce that number.

I had replaced them with Alejandros, but now I have to replace those, too.

Pretty soon, Habanos, there'll be nothing left for me.

Is there anyway you can describe the flavor profile? I thoroughly enjoy everything else in the Vegas Robaina portfolio, but I was a little late to the Cuban game and missed out on these.
